Jeff Mann's poetry, fiction, and essays have appeared
in many publications, including Rebel Yell, Prairie Schooner, Shenandoah, Laurel Review, The Gay and Lesbian Review, Bear Lust, Best Gay Erotica 2003 and 2004, West Branch, and Appalachian Heritage. He has published three award-winning poetry
chapbooks—Bliss, Mountain Fireflies, and Flint Shards from Sussex—as well as a full-length book of poetry, Bones Washed with Wine. A collection of essays, Edge, and a novella, "Devoured," included in Masters of Midnight: Erotic Tales of the Vampire, appeared in 2003. His most recent publications include a book of poetry and memoir, Loving Mountains, Loving Men (2005), a collection of poetry, On the Tongue (2006), and a book of short fiction, A History of Barbed Wire (2006). He teaches creative writing at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
